Founded in 1996 and nestled in the heart of historic downtown Juneau, Changing Tides is one of Alaska's oldest quiliting shops. We are known for our eclectic offerings, bright and uplifting decor, passionate customer service and our wide variety of Alaskan-themed fabrics.

 

Changing Tides has a long history of working directly with local artists to curate the most exclusive and unique styles, including fabrics by Alaskan artists Barbara Lavallee, Evon Zerbetz, Teresa Ascone, Cindy Shake and Ayse Gilbert.

Doubling as a yarn and gift shop, Changing Tides is also home to a variety of hand-dyed in Alaska yarns-including Musk Ox yarn, locally referred to as "Quiviut" - Made in Alaska jewelry, mugs, cards and much more. We look forward to helping you create and design your next project.
